Position Description

• Create, Modify and enhance existing Microsoft Web (or Microsoft Windows based) Applications for solving complex problems using Visual Studio 2008/2010 C# ASP.NET 3.x, and 4.x

The employee shall provide Case Management (CM) support for Michigan Army National Guard. The case managers must be a qualified Registered Nurse. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks for the Army National Guard that may include, but are not be limited to the following: 
o Maintains appropriate licensure and credentials (current Registered Nurse (RN) License/Basic Life Support (BLS). 
o Coordinates with service members (SM) who have Line (LOD) injuries/illness to ensure that the care is properly managed minimizing amount of time in non-deployable status. 
o Performs initial and follow-up SM interviews to ensure quality of patient care and ensures the SM understands his/her responsibilities. 
o Coordinates treatment plans and all referrals when the care is being resourced by the government. 
o Ensure proper data entry of all SM medical information in appropriate MUDS (Medical Operational Data System). 
o Ensures proper maintenance of SM medical records. 
o Works with Tn-Care and the Military Medical Support Office (MMSO) to obtain prior authorization for treatment. 
o Coordinates with the SM to ensure all appointment dates and times are communicated. 
o Provides the State designated Medical Detachment Patient Administrator (PAD) with all relevant documentation. 
o Maintains a management reporting system to include database spreadsheets. Operates a personal computer to input, store, retrieve and manipulate data for various reports. Uses various software programs to maintain database files and prepare reports. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and is familiar with the use of MODS and MEDPROS systems. 
o Coordinates with Medical Detachment PAD officer to ensure results of appointments, referrals and tests are placed in the outpatient treatment record. (OTR) 
o Documents results of weekly case reviews in OTR 
o Provides written recommendations regarding any proposed removal of a SM LOD or Incapacitation pay status to the COR for final disposition. Such recommendations can include confidential patient medical information as appropriate. 
o CM will inform provider of the SM’s status and furnish them with the mandatory information/documentation. 
o Coordinate SM health care including counsels initially using Military Treatment Facilities (MTF), VA, network Tn-West provider, and non-network providers. 
o Provide information to patients about their privacy rights and how their information can be used (Have patients sign consents). The Contractor shall also be responsible for protecting confidential nature of SM’s files and medical issues. 
o Educates soldiers on resources available to improve medical and dental readiness. 
o Perform additional supporting tasks directly related to the tasks listed above and medical readiness of the ARNG. 
The Contractor shall provide the aforementioned Case Manager personnel to all states within the 
Army National Guard as required. Case Managers shall support the Deputy State Surgeon. See 
Attachment #1 — Manning Requirements, for individual state requirements.

· Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems including robotic programs, ladder logic programs, relay logic, electrical distribution, motor controls, operator interface, hydraulics, and pneumatics distribution and control
· Design and develop new machine controls including robotic, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and vision systems
